About

What we do:

South Stream Productions is a group of actors who want to do theatre in the triangle area that we think is interesting, engaging and entertaining... but most of all "fun stuff we want to do."  We're not doing this for money (well, you do have to buy tickets, but trust me, we're NOT doing this for the money).  We're doing this because we find stories we like, that we'd like to tell and we think we'd be good people to tell them.  Characters we'd like to play, shows we'd like to direct.  That's it.  So come join us.

Who we are:

Brook North - Co-Founder and Artistic Director

John Honeycutt - Co-Founder and Managing Director

Our Story:

South Stream started as a collaboration between Brook North and John Honeycutt to produce Copenhagen in the triangle area in January 2013.  Thanks to our supporters and audiences, it was a very successful production both critically and financially. South Stream had it's second production in January 2014, Edward Albee's Seascape, which was also a great success. This was followed by The Caretaker by Harold Pinter in January 2015. In January of 2016 we produced Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies and then in May of 2016 we did our first non-January show, Hughie by Eugene O'Neill. Our most recent show was Blackbird by David Harrower in January of 2017. All of our shows have been exceptionally well received critically. For more details see "Past Productions" on our website.

We do not have a season as such.  We just do shows we want to do as we have time to do them, but we're always happy to hear from you.
